Why
should children own a pet?
With a pet a child will develop a sense of
responsibility and care for others.
All
the animals need care and attention, so it is very important for parents to
help their children take care of pets. Parents should give some
responsibilities little by little to their kids. For Example, a young, children
can help to fill the water and food bowls. As they get older, all the
assignments can increase.
When children are successful at raising
their pets, they feel really good about it. Their self-esteem increases and
they feel more confident about themselves and the parents will be proud of
their accomplishments.
Exercise is another good reason; the
majority of pets need exercise and play. The activities children- pets are
usually physically. This allows them to stay fit. In general, families spend
more time outside when they have a pet.
There are many positive reasons why
children should own pets and the benefits will stay with your children for the
rest of their lives. Not only do pets teach children many life skills, they are
also wonderful friends. So, when your child asks if he or she can get a pet,
don't say no before exploring the reasons you might want to say yes.
